1. What are the differences between commonly used materials?

PLA Basic: There is a slight reflection in the overlapping parts or edges when facing the light, and there is not much difference between not facing the light and PLA matte

PLA Matte: No reflection at any angle

PLA silk +: Surface reflection, metal-like effect

PETG basic: Oily effect, economy

PETG transparent: ⚠️ Not fully transparent like glass, the best effect is the translucent shown in the color card

2. Can different materials be used on the same print?

No.

Different materials will not stick together
For example, PLA and PETG cannot stick together by themselves, and the junction is very easy to separate ⚠️

3. Can the same materials with different effects be mixed?

Yes.

For example: PLA basic and PLA matte can be mixed, PLA basic and PLA+ can be mixed, and PLA and PLA silk can also be mixed

4. What material should I choose?

Indoor environment (avoid light), dry, room temperature: PLA
0.35$/g
PLA has more color options, and PLA is generally chosen for indoor decorations or props. Avoiding light does not mean that it cannot be exposed to light at all, but that it cannot be exposed to light for a long time. Outdoor conditions are not suitable for PLA, and PLA will become brittle under long-term light/humid conditions⚠️

1. Shore A 60-70: Extremely soft
2. Shore A 80-90: Soft but more supportive, suitable for most flexible applications.
3. Shore A 95: Balanced flexibility and strength, wider functionality
4. Shore D 50-65: Close to hard materials, low flexibility, but high mechanical strength.
